Admiral Michael S. Rogers is an Operating Partner at Team8, where he advises Cyber businesses. He supports various companies in the private sector, speaking to business groups and working internationally in the cyber and national security arenas. Before joining Team8, Michael spent 37 years serving in the US Navy, where he rose to the rank of four-star admiral. He held positions focused on cyber, intelligence, maritime operations, and maritime security, culminating in a four-year tour as commander of the US Cyber Command and Director of the NSA. His extensive service included duty with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and US Indo-Pacific Command. He commanded at the unit, fleet, and service component levels in the Navy. Admiral Rogers is a graduate of Auburn University. He holds a MS in National Security and is a graduate of the National War College and Naval War College. He is an MIT Seminar XXI fellow and a Harvard Senior Executive in National Security alum.
