Labib Tazwar Rahman is the President of Voltai, a Sequoia-backed company building AI agents that learn, plan, experiment, and interact with the physical world, pushing hardware into a realm previously limited by human cognition. Starting with semiconductors and electronics, Voltai is developing AI to transform how complex hardware systems are designed, invented, and deployed. Labib's work focuses on advancing sovereign AI capabilities and the infrastructure required to support them. In addition to his role at Voltai, he serves as a Principal Investigator at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and as an Advisor to the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
