Chetan Puttagunta is a General Partner at Benchmark. Benchmark is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on partnering with entrepreneurs building transformational companies. He currently serves on the boards of Elastic (NYSE: ESTC), Legora, LangChain, Starcloud, Reducto, Levelpath, Numeral, Duffel, Fomo, Modern Treasury, Airbyte, Summation, MindsDB, and Bezi. He also invested in Cursor. He previously led investments in and served on the boards of Manus (acquired by Meta), MuleSoft (NYSE: MULE, acquired by Salesforce), MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB), Acquia (acquired by Vista Equity), Scout (acquired by Workday), and several others. Chetan has been featured on The Forbes Midas List, a ranking of the world’s top venture capital investors, for six straight years. Chetan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
