Coty De Monteverde holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She began her career as a strategy consultant at Deloitte before joining Santander, where she has worked for nearly 17 years, primarily in roles related to Technology and Innovation. Coty has been actively involved in blockchain since 2016 - when the bank set up the Blockchain Lab - and currently leads the Global Crypto Domain. She is also Vice-Chairwoman of the Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem and collaborates with several universities, lecturing on blockchain in their master’s programs.
