Thomas Spitz is the CEO and Executive Director of Flow Traders Ltd., appointed to the Board in October 2025. He leads the company’s strategic direction, operational execution, stakeholder engagement, and global business development. Thomas has over 25 years of experience at global financial institutions. He has a proven track record of leading trading, sales and research divisions, managing diverse international teams, and driving growth. Thomas has pioneered innovative business strategies, product developments, and technology initiatives, establishing himself as a thought leader in the finance sector. Prior to joining Flow Traders, Thomas was the CEO of QuantCube Middle East, a technology firm specialized in alternative data and analytics. He also served as Group Head of Global Markets at First Abu Dhabi Bank from 2022 to 2024. In this position, he managed various divisions including Trading, Sales, Research and the Group Investment Team. Before that, Thomas spent more than 20 years at Crédit Agricole where he last held the role of Head of Global Markets Trading, FICC & EQD. Thomas holds a degree from ENSAE Paris, a leading French Grande École specializing in Economics, Econometrics, Finance and Actuarial Science.
