Rocío Jiménez is a Business Development and Partnerships leader with over a decade of international experience across Web2 and Web3 ecosystems, fintech, payments, and hospitality. She currently leads global sales strategy at Banxa, a leading fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure provider, where she oversees strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, and market expansion across Europe, North America, APAC & LATAM. Rocío holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Córdoba and has completed a Web3 MBA focused on AI, Blockchain & Innovation, equipping her with a unique blend of pedagogical insight and technological expertise. Certified in Financial Crime Prevention and AML/CFT compliance, she brings a strong regulatory lens to crypto partnerships. She has played a key role in strategic growth of companies such as Banxa, Bit2Me, Coinstore, Fondy, TATA.. and has led major integrations and collaborations with organizations including Mercedes-Benz Mobility Centro, eSignus, Giesecke+Devrient, and ABC Journal, contributing to the adoption of cryptocurrency payments in traditional sectors like automotive and media. Beyond her corporate role, Rocío serves as an Ambassador for Blockchain Málaga, where she organizes webinars, panels, and ecosystem initiatives to promote innovation and education in blockchain technologies. She is also contributing to thought leadership on digital transformation and sustainability in Europe, With a strong focus on bridging traditional industries and decentralized technologies, she continues to drive scalable, compliant, and impactful partnerships in the evolving Web3 space.
