Michael Higgins is the International CEO of Ripple Prime, where he leads the growth and expansion of Ripple’s prime brokerage business across institutional markets. He brings nearly two decades of experience spanning digital assets, foreign exchange, exchange-traded derivatives, commodities and precious metals, with deep expertise in electronic trading technologies and market structure. Michael joined Ripple through its acquisition of Hidden Road, where he was a senior leader helping scale the business into a multi-asset, institutional-grade prime brokerage platform. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Coronam ec, a London-based multi-asset algorithmic trading firm. He also held senior institutional roles at FXCM, serving as Director of Institutional FX Sales, EMEA, and Vice President of Institutional Sales. He holds a degree in Economics and Statistics from Fordham University.
