Gustavo Ruiz is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Movantis, a unified infrastructure platform enabling global value movement across complex markets. He brings extensive leadership experience across payments, banking, and financial services, having held multiple senior executive roles throughout his career. Prior to Movantis, Gustavo served as President for Latin America at Paysafe and was CEO of SafetyPay for over a decade, where he led the company’s expansion across the region. Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership positions at American Express, overseeing consumer travel and banking operations in Latin America. Gustavo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Colorado State University and a Diploma in International Trade from Universidad de las Américas in Mexico.
