Greg Schvey is Chief Operating Officer at Yuma, a subsidiary of DCG focused on accelerating decentralized AI on the Bittensor network. Greg is a repeat founder with 15 years of experience building foundational crypto and financial market infrastructure. He previously co-founded TradeBlock, one of the first institutional crypto data and portfolio management platforms, which was acquired by DCG in 2020. He later co-founded Axoni, where he helped build core infrastructure used by traditional financial institutions to process trillions of dollars in transactions annually. Axoni’s largest business unit was acquired by London Stock Exchange Group in 2024. He was also a co-creator of The Genesis Block, one of the earliest and most influential Bitcoin media sites beginning in 2012. More recently, Greg has been an active builder in the Bittensor ecosystem, developing top-performing miners and contributing directly to the open, competitive markets that power decentralized AI. At Yuma, he is focused on empowering builders, strengthening network infrastructure, and helping Bittensor scale from an emerging protocol into a global intelligence marketplace.
