Avishay is a cybersecurity veteran and holds a PhD in Cryptography from Bar-Ilan University. His academic work spans numerous publications in top-tier venues and accepted patents, reflecting a research career at the intersection of theory and applied cryptography. Prior to founding Soda Labs, Avishay contributed to real-world cryptographic solutions at VMware (now Broadcom). He now leads Soda Labs, where he designed what is considered the world's most advanced MPC-based confidential computing engine — enabling enterprises to operate on-chain with full privacy while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements.
